During the school holidays, kids can doodle up their own spacecraft designs on paper, all inspired by that new In real life: inventors, innovators and opportunists exhibition. Its a laidback way for them to channel their inner rocket scientist without leaving the craft table.

Next, they will cobble together a 3D prototype from a pile of random craft materials, turning wonky sketches into something that might not blast off to Alpha Centauri but will definitely earn a spot on the fridge door.
