The Black Dog Institute is inviting parents to take part in the Parenting to Prevent (P2P) Study - to evaluate a new, online program designed by parents, for parents.
What's it about?
P2P offers simple, practical strategies to support your child's wellbeing and reduce risks of self-harm and other mental health challenges later in life.
In P2P, you'll learn how to:
• Stay calm in tough parenting moments.
• Help your child manage big feelings.
• Strengthen your connection and trust.
• Resolve family conflict with confidence.
What's involved?
• 8-week flexible online program, completed from home
• 1 hour per week (15 min. video, and skills practiced during regular parenting)
• You’ll receive regular support messages to help keep you on track.
Who is eligible?
• Any parent living in Australia with a child aged 8-12 years.
