The ANU Research School of Psychology is recruiting participants to be involved in a pilot trial of a group therapy program that aims to promote wellbeing, strengthen social connections, and challenge weight stigma among higher weight people (body mass index 30+). It’s free to participate.
Groups 4 Health is a 5-session group therapy program that has been shown to be effective at reducing depression and loneliness. The program will be delivered by two provisional psychologists across 8 weeks. All sessions will be held face-to-face on the ANU campus in Acton.
We are looking for interested participants who are of a higher weight to participate in our trial. If you are interested, click on the link below to complete a short survey to find out if you are eligible.
