As part of the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival 2022, the National Capital Authority is taking the public behind the scenes for a rare inside look at Scrivener Dam, a national engineering landmark. Come and learn from David Wright for a tour behind the scenes that explains the engineering achievements of Scrivener Dam. Admire the unique gated structure as you traverse from the control room to the gallery. Get to see firsthand the inner workings of the dam, including the hydraulic equipment used to control the massive flood gates.
