The artworks at Reconciliation Place symbolically and physically place Reconciliation at the heart of the nation. They are located in the heart of the National Triangle. Among these artworks are stone artworks carved of sandstone. Each artwork bares a quote from an Elder and symbols important to their spiritual life. These are not memorials for they are celebrations of the life’s work of five honoured Indigenous Elders whose efforts helped bridge the gap between European and Indigenous Australia. Join Kate Collins for a discussion of the artworks, their beauty, and the extraordinary stories they tell.
