One school. One journey. Many stories.

Canberra's newest Early Education to Year 12 Anglican school is set to open in 2026 with Early Education (with play hubs from six months to 3 years old), a 3-year-old program, a Pre-Kindergarten program for 4-year-olds and Kindergarten to Year 2. Years 3 to 8 will follow in 2027, with Years 9 and above commencing in 2028.

Established on land reserved for an independent school, this is the first new Anglican school in Canberra in over twenty years. The school aims to be the region's most modern, inclusive, and sustainable Anglican institution, featuring a vertical design inspired by a forest ecosystem: a ground layer fostering community, and a canopy layer representing growth.

Located in Weston Molonglo, the college serves a rapidly growing community. Local families value strong academic outcomes as well as holistic learning and the college aims to become a hub for community life, offering opportunities for learning, sport, connection, and fellowship.

Families are invited to help shape the foundation year, including decisions on uniforms, cocurriculars, naming of spaces, and participation in working groups.

Educational Philosophy

The college is committed to holistic education with high academic standards. There is a strong emphasis on belonging, as well as pastoral and academic care.

An inquiry-based approach is complemented by explicit teaching with relevant, engaging and challenging experiences. Shared spaces and a vertical school design ensure teaching is transparent and collaborative.

Learning Outcomes and Future Focus

A solid foundation in literacy and numeracy is crucial for future academic success. Students are also prepared for strong post-school pathways.

The college's unique culture is guided by the values of Courage, Love, and Character.

Early Learning Leadership

The college is pleased to announce the appointment of its foundational Head of Early Education School, Jo O’Brien, previously of Radford College. Jo brings more than twenty-three years of experience across Anglican, Catholic, and international schools.

Having taught and led from the early years to Year 8, Jo is deeply attuned to the continuum of learning that supports every child’s growth and wellbeing. Competent in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and concept-based inquiry, Jo designs and leads learning experiences that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding.

Meet the Foundation Principal

Andy Gordon is an experienced leader across the Anglican school network. His previous roles include Deputy Principal Head of Junior School (2019-2023) and Interim Principal (2023-2025) at Radford College, Canberra.

Andy is renowned for fostering strong cultures that celebrate relationships, uphold high expectations, and promote academic growth.

Genuinely community-focused, Andy firmly believes that schools should be places where families truly feel they belong. "We want to create a school where young people develop courage, act with love and build character for life.

"We are building the most modern and sustainable Anglican school in Canberra. A vertical design that mirrors a forest, grounded in community with room to grow."

Parent Choice and Participation

Families are invited to help shape the culture from day one, and independent schooling offers parents choice and partnership.
