Give your kids the gift of a digital detox by spending the day in nature. Slowing down and spending time outdoors has proven positive benefits for development and well being. Children have opportunities to create their own games, use their spatial awareness, negotiation skills and can engage in activities that capture their imagination.

This program is suitable for ages 5 to 10 years. Drop the kids off knowing they will have a great day!

This full day program will involve spending time in the forest playing, building and exploring as well as creating in the Terrace Room and Gallery of Gardens. This program does involve walking and sturdy covered footwear is essential. If your child requires any additional support, please be in touch so that we can discuss options with you.

This program will still run in rain - There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing so please pack suitable clothing for the weather forecast for the day. It can be very windy at the Arboretum so a windproof layer is recommended. Bring nut free lunch, morning tea and a bottle of water.

More detailed information will be sent prior to the day.

If your child is unwell, please keep them at home.
