Childbirth is a unique time in a woman’s life when she must dig deep and find incredible strength. It’s a beautiful phase of life as you welcome new life into the world and into your family.

Like childbirth itself, childbirth photography is a unique experience for mums and their family. Luna K Childbirth Photography is a Canberra photographer capturing this special moment professionally and discreetly, while remaining empathetic to mums in labour.



This very special kind of photography is truly one of a kind.  You will never get a second chance to document the birth of your baby in pictures. Luna will capture everyone involved in the birth, providing you with precious memories to treasure forever.

Luna shoots throughout labour, during childbirth and into the magical ‘golden hour’ just after birth, as you enjoy those first moments with your baby. She does not interfere with the birthing process in any way, and you won’t even know Luna is there, bringing absolute authenticy to your experience.



Luna will be available to you 24/7 from 37 weeks for your birth shoot, staying throughout labour, birth and for the first few hours of your baby’s life. If Luna is not available for some reason, she will arrange for a colleague to replace her.

Families will receive a USB of around 100 black and white photos within 28 days after the photoshoot.
