Counselling that is strengths-based and trauma-informed.
An Introduction to Franchesca Isla and Evergreen Therapeutic Services
Franchesca Isla, a dedicated mother, author and 2023 Lifeline Rising Women of Spirit Award recipient, holds psychology and social work degrees, focusing on counselling. She is an active member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and has extensive experience assisting women affected by domestic violence.
Drawing upon her expertise in trauma management, Franchesca recently established
Evergreen Therapeutic Services, a counselling service that prioritises a trauma-informed approach. Through this approach, Franchesca encourages individuals to shift from self-blame to understanding the impact of their past experiences on their well-being.
In her work with clients, Franchesca endeavours to create a supportive environment where self-compassion can flourish, ultimately aiding their healing journey. Her aspiration is for individuals to emerge from therapy with a deeper understanding of themselves and a renewed emotional resilience.
Franchesca has also contributed to Bully Zero Australia by founding its blog,
Brave, to amplify voices and raise awareness about bullying issues. Brave now serves as a platform for individuals to share their experiences with bullying, delving into its profound impacts on physical, emotional, psychological, social, and generational levels.
